Spotted WRO 748M in shop car park
Muggy Bonehead replied to Goldcrest's topic in OLD SKOOL FORD CHAT
I Really miss the "old skool fords spotted" section!! those thieving scrotes using our own forum against us ruined that little bit of fun -
Believe me, if I knew where the owner was I would be beating his door down with a bundle of cash. My mate is on the case trying to track him down. The car next to it is an immaculate J-plate Mk3 fiesta thats been off the road since 2003, no rust at all, even round the petrol hole. Worthless now but give it 10 years... It is really cool that these old cars keep surfacing, just hope it can be saved.

Luckily being inside in the dry has really helped. the panels are mostly fine. The clock says 37k but im guessing thats 137... or is it I want this so bad

My mate over the other side of Hastings has been saying to me for a while now "ere your'e into your old motors, theres a cracker downstairs" so when I visited him on saturday he took me down into the underground car park under the flats that only residents have keys for (a real saving grace or it would be vandalised/stripped for parts by now) In an unlit tucked away corner this beauty stood before me. Registered in Brighton 21/6/76 3.0 GL, but not completely forgotten about as it was re-sorned in august. sorry the pictures arent great but ive tried not to get the numberplate as it interfered with the flash and its not fair to show it without owners consent. Ive got my mate on the hunt for the owner, My Cortina needs a playmate

So good to see these pix coming out of the woodwork, granada's are seriously cool. No photo's exist of my dads Blue over silver Mk2 79 Saphire but heres his mk1 in 1983, the unluckiest granada going. How he bought it from his brother. After a few weeks hard work Then the following year. One the banger boys havent found, taken this week. im desperately seeking the owner to thrust some cash at him.

Grrr looks like my car wont be there now, my recently fitted recon steering rack failed the MOT as it was missing a bearing, now waiting for a re-replacement I will still be attending albeit as a pedestrian or in a Mk6 Escy Van as a Payer and displayer! Once again i say, GRRRR -

This is gonna be awesome, I live in Hastings so I can just take my handbrake off and roll down to the seafront Now praying that my poly-bushing and steering rack will be finished in time. 1:garyv6100e 2: SebringRS 3: Skippy 4: Andygfc 5: Aden 6: moredoorAsh 7: BaileyMex 8: jiffer 9: twinkle 10: zetecmk2 11: tazrocks88 12: fiesta steve 13: fezza 14: kj1320 15: steve dray 16: danny b 17: banarama 18: mk3 cokebottle X 2 19: marky4 20: red-rum816 21: Mr2caps 22: lotusless 23: posse 24: driver 25: Tall Paul 26. stuartp 27. inspectorgusset 28. tonypotter 29. Gr8 pix. Awesome to see so many Mk1's at once. The XR2 "Fly" is quality. -
I went to a small classic car show at Bewl water today; these were the OSF's in attendance. And on its first outing since being finished was the gorgeous resurrected Roger Clark Twin Cam "BEV 782G", Winner of the 1969 rally Wales & Ireland.

I have to agree with Boreham, I've seen pix of the various series ones, Mini's, and comedy pick up trucks that have passed through your mitts but never the OSF's. There's a scanner at my mums if they are still in analogue format. -

Paulo my old son!! good to see you on OSF. Cant wait to see the brown beastie. the pix you sent me are a sorry sight but i kno your'e the man for the job. -
Welcome m8. good to see more mkV owners arriving; and on an "A" plate too! well rare.
-
Super cool motor, gotta love the Roman Bronze/Solar gold combo with seats to match. More people should save these little known limited release models rather than going down the RS/XR/Mexico route; we need to see more Linnets, Goldcrests, Fireflys, chasseurs & carousels about so well done m8. Someone near me still has the 2Tone green Mk2 Granny Consort as a daily driver which i'd love to prise out of his mitts

~~~~~~~~~Keep your eyes peeled for this car~~~~~~~~~~~
Muggy Bonehead replied to a topic in STOLEN OLD SKOOL FORDS
FFS!!!!! This makes my blood boil, and its always croydon too! Ive watched the area go down the pan for 28years til last year when I couldnt handle the high rent prices and higher crime rates anymore and moved to Hastings; Unfortunately My OSF is still sitting in my mums garage in Croydon. Why are these morons picking such Conspicuous cars? I mean how many hundreds of thousands of Silver Beemers are out there Yet they wander off with a Bright green Mex!! These Kind of thefts raise so many questions too; Are they nicking to order? Where are they flogging the Cars/parts/Shells and who's buying them without asking some serious questions. And whats in it for the thieves? Its not like they can parade round in an OSF for long without attracting attention, and the parts cant be fetching a vast amount of money; its just sickening.
