takling conversions.back in the day the big thing was to get the mk1&2 escort pintod up.nowadays the big thing and the ultimate thing if u ask me is to drop a yb cossie engine into one.about 3 years ago a good friend of mines dad owned a ford breakers yard,for some reason his dad maganged to get hold of an old nissan 200sx.he said to my mate harv if he strips the car down he can have the engine for his 1980 mk2 harrier.so harv got the tape measure out and stated work,whithin 3-4 the engine was sitting in the bay ticking over.now this was a perticular lairy car to say the least,trying to drive it in a sraight line was a nightmare,the engine mounts needed moving 4inches and the prop had to be custom made with the nissan end on one side and the ford end on the other.the hardest part about the conversion was the wireing,trying to find what wires u didnt need.will get some pics up of this 250bhp turbo mk2 escort soon. whats the mentalist conversion u ever seen.in this monthes cf mag theres a mk1 with a honda s2000 engine in it.

my mk 2 is irish with the plate mij 4069.it was made in 1980 but was registerd in the uk in 1984.the v5 says 1984
