  3. I have rough memory or it Puddy,I'm guessing that was down to the gearbox and clutch. I was 5 mins away from buying the gearbox out of Timmy G's MK3 Cortina and he stated i'd need to slip the cluch or i would break parts. Damm that jerico would have been sweet.
  4. 8 inch ford in mine with Strange shafts and a spool Toby your right mate 8 and 9 inch are front loading diff. I am also going to build m spare diff with a LSD. I know a mate of mine run a 9.4 on a 8 inch so im safe.

Now that is a quick Cortina with a *cough* Rover lump Did Paula ever run the 100E in street class ???? i know shes not a member but it has to be the quickest 100e .. when it ran right Steve uses wild cat engine. 6.0 litre rover based ish engine. 20. 13.8????? What was the next number?? Possibly not by much then!! Well??? And you're not N/A Tom! |He didn't ask about forced induction, plus hes got some cc's on me.
  21. 13.8????? What was the next number??
  22. That'll be John Tebenham's old motor. I don't think it was fully street legal when he was running 9's though. If it was, then it wasn't really drivable coz he had lenco transmission IIRC Liberty Trans i'll have you know he he Wedged in third for the cruise,BUT still on the street!! And if you look at how i worded it 'Fastest 4 cylinder car on the street'. The 9.42 was on DOT tires,I remember John telling me it hooked better on the DOTs than the slicks, Is JT on here though, as the original question was Ok then its Steve Green, he signed in on my name to look around. 7.83@170+ Theres nothing about street in that phrase,Who has the fastest car here. hehe
  23. Always wondered what was in the bottles Alright mate Fastest turbo mk 1 Cortina coming along alright? I agree N2O should be in the forced induction class though. It's adding oxygen and fuel just like the other methods. Toby, how's the turbo/nitrous 2000cc precross flow coming along??
  24. That'll be John Tebenham's old motor. I don't think it was fully street legal when he was running 9's though. 25. I do believe fastest turbo 4 cylinder car on the street is a car Puddy was involved with, 105E 9.42 hehe As for fastest old skool ford(MOTd)....Allen Curtis 9.1 on the back wheels for 60 feet. All in a 300e van with a small Block.
