How do they get on if your say spraying an awkward/inaccessible part of the motor - like a lip under a wheel arch - or a sill. Presumably you need to keep them pretty much upright at all times?? I know you'd have to do it with any spray gun, but are gravity ones more prone to splatter if tilted? Cheers - Burt.

Triffic - love the pic (or not of the Granada) Cheers people. Burt

Cheers, so any suction paint gun, presumably with a moisture/water trap somewhere between the compressor and gun would be fine. I see guns that are gravity fed/suction fed - guns that require between 2 - 3hp some 3 - 4hp, some that require a certain CFM. I don't know what my hp or the CFM would be on the compressor i have - if i knew all of this it would help me no end. Anyone know if i can/how i can calculate this. Ta

Finally - when buying a welder mask what are the key things i need to look for? Obviously i've seen a few starting at £20 on ebay, but want something presuambly Solar powered Auto darkening Darkens quickly 1/10th of a second (is that quick enough) Levels 9-13? Don't want a mega expensive one, but don't want to buy one that collapses the moment i fire up the welder and i get arc eye. Bonjour -

Some people are just blessed with good luck. B&Q? I didn't know they done sheet steel? Well, if anyone else know of metal fabricatiors in Sutton/Worcester Park/Ewell way that lob out their old scrap sheet metal then i'd appreciate it. I'll zoom down there and grab a sheet or 2. -

Nice thoughts thanks. Liking the idea of an in-line vale that I can switch, and it doesn't matter where inside it is really although the fuel lines run under the passenger side (i think) on a 2.8i s Capri
-
I think that the idea of a hidden fuel cut of switch in the car is an absolutely stonking idea Just how does one go about obtaining such a device?

~~~~~~~~~Keep your eyes peeled for this car~~~~~~~~~~~
If you see anyone sniffing about that looks like an extra from 'Deliverance' then make sure they see that you've clocked em. -
I have to say that both Frenchy and Burns would definately get my vote for the best animated avatar on the site ! Maybe you should mock up a dummy annual award for these things..wooah who are those girls ???
Look out for two tall emaciated scruffy pikeys on BMX's in their late 20's early 30's. Also - in Sevonoakes where the Irish (yeah right) fellas in the Shogun were spotted, well I've seen them down my road driving slowly while they both look at the houses. A couple of incidents happened outside my house and they are always at around 1:30 am when everyones asleep. Be vigilant, scare them off if you can and if you do intervene...don't do it near your own house. Once a rat finds out where you live then you'll have an infestation of them.
Glow in dark ford emblem badges
Burt Reynolds replied to Burt Reynolds's topic in NEW MEMBERS INTRODUCTIONS
I have removed a cv propshaft from a 1986 Capri 2.8inj special. It all came out pretty simply with reference being paid to where everythng originally went. The oil seal stuck in the back of the 5 speed gearbox housing needed to come out as it was leaking. Getting it out was a beeaitch, but once out I had a brainwave - why not wrap a rag over a screwdriver and clean off some of the old seal from the housing - and in doing so the corner of the screwdriver popped out of the rag and managed to score the effing housing in the middle. Not a deep score, more of a light scratch. Now i'm worried i've made things worse. I put the new seal back in and prop back on...if it leaks, what are my options. Ta Burt -
Danke Schoen. I'll get a couple straight away. ! -
I saw a modified Honda Prelude last night in Sutton which looked the business. On the boot of it it has the standard Honda 'H' Badge, but the background of this badge glowed light blue and looked really nice. It obviosuly had a small low voltage led type bulb behind it. Does anyone know if there is such a Ford emblem that glows and where I could get one from? Thanks Burt
