Yes Neil has got the correct clutch kit as I bought my replacement from him and it was good quality at a good price. I believe he only has a limited supply of these clutches so best get in touch with him soon. An RS2000 bellhousing will fit and you need an RS clutch cable.

But Steve It's got Mot and tax I don't think you should break it. There can't be many spares worth keeping for yourself and loads of people out there would like a 4dr Escort that don't use internet or know about Escort Tec etc. Stick it in the SEOC magazine or free-adds and make a small profit, or drive it throught the winter as an everyday car and put a for sale sign in the window. If you know how much you want let me know by pm if you like, there are several people I know who are looking for a 4dr mk2. I will bring them along to the MK meet and you can auction it.

I know and just when I thought it was going to die off for the winter. At the next meet the MK RS owners club will be tagging along but don't let this put you off, I am sure there will always be more old than new. I am only ever going to encourage or promote it as an old classic fords meet. As some of you have already seen we have a few Opels/Vauxhalls and other classic cars regularly in attendance, they are a nice bunch of people so please make them welcome. I have been to see Mick today, he was out tearing about yesterday and is sure there is not many cars out there that will keep up with him He is looking to knock 10 seconds off the lap record for a mk1 Escort.
