  1. early start in thieving terms means (of the day shift) first thing ie as soon as the sun starts to rise, when no one else is around. not that I Know much about thievery
  2. I thought you were going to go this morning, what happened to an early start you lazy git, get off your arse and get that 5 finger discount on the carbs!!!!

  6. yes, your eyes aren't decieving you, supervan has returned and is ready for 2007
  7. as I said, the 4A-GE engine is perfect for him, his uncle knows about them and he has the fabrication skill to help install it aswell, he is knowledgeable in both toyotas and fords so he is the perfect person to do it, plus being a drifter his uncle can then teach him to drift aswell Antz needs more power to get him drifting and this is the perfect engine to do it with plus Antz also wants an AE86 aswell and with the prices of them at the moment this is the closest he'll get to one for a while
  8. the idea of me suggesting to him to stick a 4A-GE engine in his escort is that: A) he needs to drift so he needs more power and the 4A-GE engine has around 130bhp as standard its a 1600cc engine so its not going to be so bad on insurance as most jap engines C) its a 16v so it has better pick up than most 8v engines D) his uncle has a 4A-GE engine waiting around in his garage after taking it out of his AE86 drift car he's building, therefore his uncle also has the required skills to help with the conversion E) if he wants more power its easily available from the 16v unit and if he still wants more power he can do a straight swap for the 20v N/A or Turbo unit that'll just bolt straight in F) the engine is way cheaper to buy, tune and maintain than a cossie engine and the body mods will be about the same as needed to fit a cossie engine
  9. the cartoons are way better than the film
  10. Escota http://www.oldskoolford.co.uk/phpBB2/vi ... hp?t=31927
  11. go for the 4A-GE engine out of the 86 then you can uprgrade to the 20v turbo unit later, it'll be a near straight swap
  12. looks like you'd be best cutting out the old stuff as it looks luike the previous owners have plated over the rust so even if you plate over it, it'll come back, cut out the rust, clean it up, weld in new metal and paint it up, then waxoyl inside the chassis rail. make sure that the rail is well supported while doing this otherwise it could bend.

you could have at least bought a proper motorbike then you could have put the engine in an OSF and had a bit of fun
