  1. Im after a decent 3.77 as mines started to seriously whine and after inspection it would be best to replace. Seen some for £400 -500.... i think thats too much for what they are. got some complete 3.9s and 3.89s if deal can be done. Cheers Tom
  2. Oh so tempted on these. Work in woking and im thinking about how much fun going back down to 13s from 15s would be........
  3. I'm from near there and have never seen this. If you decide not to sell or have something else to drive i should be back on the road from the start of next month. Good luck with this anyway.
  4. yeah they are MO's. I fancied something a bit different and i think they suit it.
  5. After last years 300 quid rise to insure the escort i decided to give it a miss for a year. Managed to get a fair bit done on her when time permitted. But she'll be at wingspan and boxhill meets again this year and ive got to say its been like going cold turkey this past year. Hope your all good. Did i miss anything? Here's a little teaser pic.
  6. Ive been yo-yoing between which i am going to vote for. Overall i think for a general election the setup of constituencies that we have at the moment is archaic and doesnt really represent what we as voters want. With constituencies containing anywhere between 65-90,000 voters I think it is unfair that because of which constituency you live in it could effect whether your chosen party gets into power. In effect the less people in a constituency the more power those voters have over the outcome of the election. Which is unfair. I have always thought that for general elections at least we should be using proportional representation as a voting system as this would mean that it doesnt matter where you live your vote will make the same amount of difference. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proportional_representation). And to my actual point (sorry). I decided that as we live in a democracy we should be using the most democratic voting system available. The first past the post system is all well and good if voters actually vote for the party they agree with the most policy s of. But we don't. We all know that if you vote for *unheard of party X* that they aren't going to get in because it has always been down to the Big 3 and that we will have to pick one of them instead. Whereas with AV it means that voters have an opportunity to feel that they can vote for who they truly agree with and not be wasting your vote. Because at the end of the day, we aren't supposed to be trimming what we might want so that it can fit into one of 3 options. I'm going to vote for AV because it means that if people agree with a party's policy's then it means they can vote for them, and then they can put a more mainstream party as one of there latter preferences so that if there first choice doesn't get in they still get an opinion on who ends up with the power. And that is what matters. The voters need to get what they actually want. (good video explaining AV
  7. Second that, Get it done. For me. I don't care about what look means what or whatever. All I need to worry about is "Do I like that?". All our cars are extensions of ourselves and we all modify them to make them suit us. And its like art its all about perspective and opinion. Personally. I love them slammed, jacked up, on 15s, on 13s, Oldskool powered, Jap powered. Its all about what ticks the boxes. Pretty much the same as asking Are you a leg, boobs or bum man? All I know is Old Skools Rool and as long as the owner likes their car everyone else can sex and travel.
  8. Im loving my Signal Orange. If i had a mk1 it would be Ermine White (think thats the right one) with the Blue RS stripes. MMMMMMM
  9. tried to introduce myself to the neighbours last night. Lights on in 3 of their houses. only one of them opened the door. Nice 60 year old lady with a shiny mx5. Says there is some scummy fookers living next door to her that she suspects (funnily enough they were in watching tv and i could see the dog barck but still no opening the door to me). Spoke to the guy who used to live there and in his words " My mate had his aerial bent and someone dented my car out the front but normally there is no problems.Let me know if you have any more issues. I cant prove anything but all problems started when the people on the end moved in, before that there was never any issues. and I think its not Duncan its his fat bird. cant prove anything though" Im gonna keep parking it there. get a video camera. and camp out in the garage. I hope to god I catch them. Then if I have to batter them in self defence so be it.
  10. i probably wouldnt get anything for that. Know what i mean
  11. I've just got to vent. Moved in with my girlfriend not even 2 weeks ago in a house in Roffey, Horsham. She said yesterday that shes had problems parking by the garages at the back of the house and has had a couple of notes of "Please don't park here" on her car, So I said she could park out the front of the house and ill park at the back. Anyway got home at 6 parked my daily clio outside my back gate behind someone's van. Gone in the house and that was that. Came out this morning and my windscreen has brick dust stuck to it (from the rain) I wipe it away and there are two little bumps of brick stuck to the screen (a failed attempt at smashing the windscreen maybe) and 5 nice dents in the top left of my bonnet. couple of nice scores around the dents and one dent at the top of the passenger door on the roof. Its all very half arsed and either like kids or a doris did it. Tonight I will be knocking on all the neighbours doors and calmly introducing myself and paying much attention to there faces when I tell them someone has battered my car and ask whether they know anything. I am tempted to report it to the police so that if anything further happens there is a log of complaints etc. Any ideas boys and girls? Sensible ones are probably better? All I know is if I catch them I still have a 3rd of the brick that they left next to my car . And I'm going to feed it to them
  12. So you don't listen to the radio then? http://www.bbc.co.uk/aboutthebbc/licencefee/
  13. I love this. For me all the hints at being a V8 would come off and id bang some 1600 badges on there or something so that I could surprise as many things as possible.
  14. Yeah I'm really into my DnB, As well as pretty much everything that isnt radio 1. I love that Machete track. I don't know if you've heard of them but every year Andy C releases a mix of that years latest and greatest tracks. Its called Nightlife and they are up to the 5th one now. Personally 1-4 are better than 5. Its gone a bit mainstream.
  15. £112 For 12months laid up with the option to upgrade to an on the road policy at any time. Ah well i can get my spare 205 bottom end 2.1ed and everything sorted for next year. Maybe the odd track day in the middle to keep the cobwebs out
