  1. It just doesn't look right does it...?! I hate to say it but I personally think VW have done a far better job with the Scirocco...! Either way I'd rather spend the money it will cost to get one of these 'new' Capri's on a few tidy originals...!!!
  2. Ouch... Let's get some more pictures of these glorious blue oval barges on here that aren't going round the track on Saturday (but good luck to all the racers who are doing their thing at Ipswich this weekend... I s'pose!!!)...
  3. Bloody brilliant... I saw the 'Streets of San Francisco' Mk3 Cortina couple of years ago and there was a distinctly customised Mk1 Capri on eBay last month so maybe a resurgence is due for this kind of OTT thing...?! A kind of Old Skool Customs if you will...
  4. That van is completely OTT in a superb way of course...! I wish it would tread the tarmac again exactly as it is but I realise that that is not 'fashionable' any more so I doubt that will happen... Has anybody got any pictures of it back in't day...!
  5. Christ I only need a bit of a repair done to my wheel, it certainly doesn't look to be worth spending a few hundred quid on it...!!! I think the search is on for a good second-hand item...
  6. Hello there folks... Does anybody know a good trimmer in the Surrey area?! I have a Ford Granada steering wheel who's leather skin is falling off and I need a skilled/competent trimmer to stitch it all back together for me... Any suggestions?!
  7. That stretched Granada is a complete bloody bargain... Sure as damn it beats a modern, and bloody bland, people carrier!!! All it needs are a couple of tweaks here and there to make it look really boss... I hope somebody gets it before it gets used for something race/oval related...
  8. When did it go missing...?! I live round that way so I will keep my eyes peeled...
  9. This made it in to the press today... Page 40 of the free London paper 'Metro' no less... Hopefully it will help...
  10. You might find a nice Mk2 Granada well within your price range on eBay... They are the ultimate all day luxo-cruiser...
  11. Fudging pricks...!!! Thank goodness it didn't get pilfered sir...
  12. Here's a bit of a rarity from many, many years ago... According to morcheen (another Old Skool Ford member) it is (or was rather ) a special order car built for the police that had an AVO chassis plate...!!! That is (sorry, was!) probably the rarest Mk1 Granada in the world...
  13. Nice on bronze4door...! That Jupiter Red Mk2 is pure Cowley from 'The Professionals' & I love it...
  14. I think we can all agree that a set of D1's will look boss on a Mk3 Cortina, they are period perfect for such a beast...
  15. Loving the Z-cars bomber1, I'm all for seeing more of those (and more Granada's of course!!!)...
  16. That's the one Jay, the exact same one... I've seen it looking slightly down-at-heel and in need of some TLC...!!!
  17. Nice one sparkycapri, please try and find those other snaps...!!! On my travels today I saw a dead Mk2 Ghia Executive on a drive-way (I will make enquiries) and a very peculiar, strectched Mk2 estate that was lengthened on both the front doors and the rear doors giving it a very odd look indeed (any ideas what conversion this is it looks legit', not home-baked as it were?!)...
  18. lee_capri and sparkycapri I am loving the coachbuilt Granada's... I'd be more than happy to see more of those on this thread especialy the ultra rare Mk1 Coupe limo'...!!!
  19. Here are some more snaps of my pride & joy... I bloody love my Granada...
  20. Definitely for a Mk4/5 Cortina... The Fiesta of the same stlye was flatter and the Granada of the same style was a 5 stud... Job done I think...
  21. A lovely array of Granada's so far folks... Keep 'em coming...
  22. What size are they...?! They are either from a Mk1 Fiesta or a Mk4/5 Cortina...
