  1. Well you've got a corker there sir...! My old man had one exactly the same way back when (he did a deal with some bloke and bought 2 Granada Ghia's!!!)... It was my first (very painful) introduction to in-car cigar lighters...
  2. Now that is very nice indeed Jay, I really do like that... What's the story...?!

  8. I must say although I favour the original look (factory fresh as it were!) a Granada does look good 'slammed'...!!!
  9. Now that is ace Vista, thanks a million... I believe the same firm that are in the process of restoring the Consul GT from The Sweeney also have an old Police Consul GT that will be getting a good going over very soon...!!! I bet those old barges saw some abuse in the hands of the old bil'...
  10. Nice one Vista, I look forward to a bit of collar feeling Granada action...!!!
  11. That blue (Cosmos...?!) pre-facelift Mk2 is double tasty... If only it was still on the road... This was at Boxhill the other day (is it the real deal?!)... I would love to see some more Consul/Granada rozzer-mobiles, they look superb...!!!
  12. Looks like I missed a good little meet...! Who's is the Granada rozzer-mobile and why on earth is there no mention of it anywhere on this forum...?!?!?!?! I need to know more about it...

  14. Blimey there are some lovely old Blue Ovals there... I particularly like the Mk1 Granada's, lovely stuff...
  15. That black Mk2 is pretty slick...! Why was/is it so high, is it on air suspension...?! Either way I like it and it's great to know another Granada is being well looked after...
  16. Hello there boys & girls... I am desperate to see some press images as taken by Ford during the 1970's... The colours, the settings, the pure kitch-ness of them appeal to me greatly & I'd love to see some on here... If any of you good people can help it would be hugely appreciated... Here's my favourite one (so far) to kick things off...

  18. This is the last call for any more additions to this superb thread...! ANY MORE FOR ANY MORE...?!?!?!?! I am just trying to drum up a bit of Granada love for the 40th anniversary meet I'm organising for the 12th of May (that's a Saturday) 2012... If you or anybody you know has a Granada let them know about this meet, it's going to be a corker...
  19. Hello there Carman, I just stumbled on this superb post again & I'm blown away by this motor!!! Has it been used much over the summer so far (I haven't really used my Granada down to a dodgy thermostat and a faulty inhibitor switch!!!)...? Any chance of some more snaps of it, especially the interior and engine bay please?! It is so darn rare to see a pre-facelift Mk2 like this, I just need to see more of it...
  20. That is one of the nicest Escorts I've seen in a very long time... Absolutely stunning...
  21. What's all this then...?!?!?!? I thought it had survived the perils of redevelopment...!!! What a damn shame...
  22. What time does it all start...?! I don't want to blast up there and miss everything...!!!
  23. Hello boys & girls... There is a cracking little pre-'73 meet in Hersham, Surrey this Thursday (30th June) from 7:30pm and I do encourage all of you good folks in the locale to come along with your lovely old motors and give it your support...!!! It is held at a corking old boozer called 'The Royal George' in Hersham (130 Hersham Road, KT12 5QJ) where you can get a refreshing pint (of shandy of course!!!) and a good plate of Thai tucker if the fancy takes you... It is a pre-'73 meet first and foremost but of course all old metal is welcome so don't be shy, come along and say hello... Here's a link to the site http://www.pre73night.co.uk/ We really do hope to see you and your old motor there this week...
