I gave my mate an old twin shock RM 400 a few months ago which I have had lying in a shed for years. It’s fairly ruff but he was looking for something to work on and then when its up and running he is going to run in some of the local twin shock races

Once I got some extra lube on there the screwing got a bit easier

It took about three hours screwing but the jeep is now on the ground Now the hunt for a replacement 3phase motor begins

Its just got the one motor that spins it up and down with a chain at the bottom joining the two screws

It’s a motor up and motor down type so couldn’t fall down when it burnt out and then it has safety locks if it drops to quick. I think its probably second or third hand by now so I’ll just have to find a new motor for it myself. But it looks like I will have to lower the jeep down by hand tomorrow and that’s going to take hours

Went to change the sump on my work jeep tonight because I burst it a while back and welded it all up but it got hit again and started leaking so I thought id just change it for a new one this time, so up on the two poster rap with it and changed the sump but when I went to drop her back to the ground it only went down about a foot and the motor on the ramp decided it has had enough and burnt out. So now I have my jeep stuck almost at the top of the ramp Good job I have one of the work vans at the moment too, but now I dont know how im going to get my jeep back down

Well I tried to Photoshop a Capri with candy apple red for you but it just keeps ending up a horrid pink/red type colour More practice needed I think and probably some advice on how to use it properly
