Hi i have got the same problem it just started happening so i changed wheels still there also track rod ends steering rack bushes still there i think its in the rack but cant be sure or it could be the uj. please let me know if you cure the problem. cheers Adam

The escort is all ready but i have just re painted the drivers side rear quarter, 6 months ago when she went for mot i filled her up with fuel and it has seemed to of leaked and taken all the paint off so this week i re -painted it and now today i was on my test drive today and she was ok filled her up with fuel beeing very carefull put the petrol cap on it done the same thing. Yes i am still going to the pod but very pissed off if any one sees me and my mk2 escort come say hi and cheer me up take a look at my pics on my profile.

Just doing the last minute bits for the escort took her for a nice long drive all good, but then there was a problem with starting her from the key she will not start but if i put the ignition on and bridge from the solinoid she will crank and start but nothing from the key just battery light but there is power getting to the solinoid i rekon starter solinoid is faulty can anyone tell me what they think please!!!! Cause not long til classic ford show and this will be her first time? Please can anybody help!!!!!! Many thanks Adam

Hi guys just a quick question i have been told that if you disconnect the vacum advance pipe you get better performance but you get poor running on idle? is this a myth as i have never tried it?

Hi Im new to OSF and this years visit to santa pod will be my first time taking my MK2 Escort. I've been to CF Show for the past 3 year but never camped or taken my MK2 (Fingers Crossed she will make it).
