This car is now sold, a RSOC owner bought it

The car has no history, no pictures of the restoration, not recognised by the AVO, seems a high price to pay for possibly a re-shelled car or a very good replica with no history

Still no joy in finding a mk1 Escort RS2000 or Mexico if anyone knows of one for sale, I have a budget of 25k ish. Good home and Air-Conditioned garage waiting.

Had a good chat with the seller today, I am not convinced but see what you think: 1. Seller stated it is 2000 capacity on logbook not 1993 as it depends where the car was built (Spain, Germany or England) - is this true?? 2. No history what so ever with the car, only recent MOT 3. No pictures of resto 4. Car was a barn find 2 years ago and not been used for 15 years 5. AVO do not know car but can confirm that the reg and VIN plate are from a RS2000 I could be being picky but I am spending a lot of money on a car that can not be 100% confirmed. Think I might hold out for the right one, just looks so nice though.......

The picture of the drivers door is not shut correctly which is why it looks like not lining up

I can see that but im sure this is a easy repair, the rest of the car looks fine, pictures of the logbook etc attached. looks genuine to me???

I do have a concern as car not recognised by the avo and when the registration number is put into the dvla or a Hpi checker it states "car not recognised" I am going to look at another rs2000 on Tuesday night, 10k less but will need work

21k is the selling price - thinking about it....
