  2. Hi Guys I have a dilemma, do I sell my MK2 Escort to get a MK1 Escort Mexico or keep my mk2 and go Cosworth with it?? I’m in love with the Monza blue Mexico but cannot find one to buy, my mk2 is in such a good condition as well but prefer the mk1. Decisions Decisions Give me some help people My MK2 below:

  12. Im thinking of changing the colour of my mk2 rs2000 to black, im after some opinions, should I keep it Yellow or change to black, would I decrease the value of the car if I change the colour and can I chnage the colour on the Logbook?

  16. MY RS2000 Engine 205 block. bored out, lightened and balanced, new pistons, oil pump etc. Injection head genuine stage 3, with kent cam. This was flowed by Neil Roper Developments. Neil is an Ex Brian Hart man, who also does a lot of stuff for Prodrive. Vernier adjustable pulley Twin 45’s with a weber twin cable linkage and a 4 branch exhaust manifold. Omex Clubman rev limiter Gartrac safari rad with electric fan 165bhp at last rolling road session New janspeed manifold and twin box PLR exhaust system 5 speed sierra box, single piece burtons prop, rebuilt diff (non lsd) Quaife quick shift lever 2.8 Capri struts with vented disks, Polybushed. Spax adjustables on the rear and uprated single leafs Rare Group one alloys Car is very clean and solid, but will spend money getting MINT - and I mean MINT!!!

  18. hi johnny, Your blog has really helped me on the work that has been done on the car, I can only thank you for all the work you have done to get the car in the superb condition it is in now, I have taken the mex of the road for now whilst I get a few mechanical works done, gearbox and rear diff being re-conditioned at the moment, going to remove the engine to get the bay welded back up and painted, got a lot plans but going to take my time and fingers crossed be ready for end of summer, if not spring next year, going to enjoy my cabrio this year!!!
