  1. I immediately thought, someone has stolen it, sprayed it bad, hit it with a few hammers and is now flogging it on ... after grinding on the Vin of course lol! So if anyone on here knows of a mk2 of the same spec that has been stolen ... Seems a pretty good spec to me!

  3. I'm finding that i just cat be bothered at the moment, my car is at a stage where its pretty good, but not quite done, and its all those niggly bits, that are just a pain in the ass lol. When its nice, i end up spending the day out with mates, and when its rainy i cant do anything on the car, i need to take the carb off to fit a manual choke as it refuses to start with the non working auto choke, bit for me its such a fiddly job lol Anyone else have this problem? Ryan

    Black Ice

Everyone loves a bit of ice =] We are just not supposed to go looking for it that's all
  6. Ohh and forgot to say The problem with spraying is that it feels "crusty" Never really bothered me because i didn't spend much time caressing the interior Ryan
  7. Either buy a selection box from in excess, Or look in the yellow pages for a screw and fastener supplier, I'm lucky because if i don't have what i need i go into work and order "samples" from our suppliers Ryan
  8. Interesting ... Not to my taste but I'm sure someone loves it!
  9. I sprayed an interior in a golf before, Made a rat looking car and wanted to go from beige to red, It stuck to everything except the door handles, It started to crack after about 3 months, If you want to do it go ahead its not difficult, Id take all the stuff out first, sand down any shiny bits with 800 or 1200 grit just to take the shine off to stop the cracking Then your good to go! Doesn't rub off either, Well it didn't for me anyway!

    Poor capri

Green Capri? don't think i have seen that one **Goes on google** Has anyone here seen marmite before? Its a V8 Capri that is in the local ford club ... Its called marmite because you either love it or hate it ... You can see why In my opinion, the exterior is very good, but he should have not wrecked the curtains doing the interior lol! http://www.mycapri.net/

    Poor capri

I think the real question is why not? I bet you wouldn't see another one like that in tesco car park
  13. Yeah if you ask nicely someone will send you an email address, just send £12 to that and you will be put on for a year. That's what i did =] Best £12 i have ever spent, Except on condoms maybe ... Ryan
  14. **IMPORTANT NOTICE** If you look at these pictures for long enough, you will actually see that there is a car in the background ... Just letting those know who didn't realise I now have a reason to make the effort to pm posse lol!
  15. I bought a sip one off a mates dad last year, he set himself on fire with it so decided to get shot, £50 with a full bottle and a 5kg reel! Needless to say i was chuffed too!
  16. Well depending how much he wants for it, it could save me some work can you also ask him how he mounted it? Thanks Ryan
  17. Really how much? And where abouts is it? Can you get pictures? Thanks Ryan
  18. Is that not what the Capri was originally advertised as? or something very close to that? And the BMW is a 325i, it was very quick lol, I'm wondering if i would need the suspension ect? or just stick with Capri stuff? i say that because the M50 engine is heavier on one side than the other, the struts/springs are handed ...
  19. Wow that's really lucky, At least you managed to slow down I had this happen to me before on an escort (mk5) Went to a tyre place to get new tyres and they didn't tighten the front n/s back up enough, came off on the dual carriageway, completely trashed the suspension ect ... dug a hole in the floor, but other than that i was ok lol They claimed it was my fault ... Anyhow Glad to her you and your Capri survived!!!
  20. I have been toying with the idea of taking my e36 engine/gear train out and sticking it in a Capri for a little while, but what would you all think about cutting the shell off and welding a Capri one on? I have an e36 what has damage to the roof/drivers front and rear door, basically its a write off. it would need to be re shelled, but all the running gear and engine is in good condition. I was toying with the idea of striping it and putting it in a Capri, but I'm guessing i would have problems with suspension/breaks ect, could turn into a massive problem lol if i was to cut the BMW shell of and weld a Capri one on, would this be legit? and what would it get registered as? the wheels are in pretty much the same position ... This is just me throwing ideas around so if you think its a pig of a job or something then just say lol I know it kinda defeats the object of having a Capri ... it being a BMW and all, but just think it would be cool to have the power/reliability of a bigger engine ... and as this one is just sitting there ... Thanks Ryan
  21. Amazing cars, where would i have to look to pic something like this up in the uk? and approximately how much? lol Thanks Ryan

  23. I love the way it settles on the bottom If only it settled on the floor that easily here. Would make driving to work fun again!!! The fun i had last year in the work car park, most people didnt turn up, but who would pass a chance to drive an OSF in weather like that! Ryan
