Right so I'm at work and we have a new manager, now said manager is reallypally with us all and is learning what and how we do. Manager has said so they can fill in if one of us is off ill. I work in a small team and EVERYONE is brown noseing, ass kissing, sucking up. So the question is do I get pally with the manager or stand my ground and get "left behind" or worse "left out"??????

yeah was kinda wish it was my first car if I had it now I could have done what I wanted and kept it its now got a 2 litre pinto in it and 5 speed box done by the current owner when it was mine it was 1300 and auto.

Might be withdrawing my "i'll be there" endedup having to pop down to worthhing lst night to visist nan in hospital. So depending on the day and if I stay awake or not once i get home. Def next month as really getting withdrawal symptoms from the lack or car activies.

I dont know about your choice of words "idiots" as I dont personal feel I'm an idiot for driving my car every day. I feel proud I dont own a saxo or 206 and that I take mine to show knowing that I've driven it feely day in day out rather than keeping locked up just to make sure it does get scratched or wet.

At the end of the day if you dont use it you will miss it and it could still be stolen and you wont have used it. I use mine every day and it costs me atleast £50 a week on fuel but I love it. If it gets nicked yeah I'll be pissed but I get to drive it, race it, drift it and drag it so yeah drive the cortina

I sold it I bought a capri to put the engine and gearbox under the escort but ended up staying with the capri. I think the escort is now silver and located in south London.

Hi (again) OK so this is my current car a 2.0 litre capri laser, I have made a few changes to reflect myself as its my car I am currently trying to port and polish a head and have a set of bike carbs waiting to go with a fast raod cam. I'm also having a play this weekend to try and fit a Mk4 escort front bumper with fogs and indicators, will post pics during and after. enjoy.. So thats about 2 years of alterations and repairs put in one post, promise new pics when bumper done and bits re-sprayed and I think the weather is nice enough for first polish of the year. Ant

OK so a few years ago now but finally found some good photo's my grandad took. It was only about 3 months done in these pics I learnt to drive in the car and went to show with my mum in the passenger seat (Yeah that was cool!) Any way enjoy..... Ant

Ok cool cheers for the heads up had thought tht after seeing the fecking pigeon advert but when I moved out with the other half 2 years ago the family comp stayed at home. So sadly no comp of my own thus my problem.

Ok so here goes, at work my PC went bust so I got a nice new one built fo me but in doing this they found out I never had the filter software loaded on to my pc so yeah they now put it on . For some reason its not blocking OSF , Youtube , and F1 pages. I have had to find a back door into E-bay but it works. But I cannot get into Retards Club full stop. Now before you say Proxy sites, they are useing Bloxx Tru-View a 3rd generation system which not only blocks url but also "reads" the site to see what it is so Retards Club near impossible but i was told ALL non work sites would be gone. It stops me from downloading any alternative internet browsers so that it out. Its stored on "the network" and guess what us lower ppl are not aloud access to that. So any help or ideas welcome, its as important as Retards Club is because i only have pc access a work so either I get in or Retards Club goes. Cheers in advance

cheers guys seems I've opend a real debate. Yeah I got the time and yeah my dad has the tools and the skill, He's build sevrall rods for himslelf and others, has built countless chassis and engines, has built a few drags oh and in 92 build a land speed car and fle to the salt flats with it and competed. And is a mechanic through and through and was trained by Ford My Father in law is also a mechanic and my uncle builds car that have graced the covers of custom car. So I think with them watching over me I can get it done. I would really like to do this so I can in a way show them I dont need to rely on them to get my car done and I can learn how to do the work myself. I will let you know how the work goes once its been done. Again thanks for all the advise.

OK cool cheers for all the advise and warning, I am gonna try it I have two spare heads which only cost £5 so not alot to lose. Yeah I've been told alot not to do the inlet and leave it rough and as it happens a work m8 is digging out a step by step "porting for dummies" book so I'll give it a go and we'll see wot happens. Hi all, Ok so I got a 2 litre pinto head (spare) I've stripped it and de-coked it now how do I go about porting and polishing it? I have no clue and dont really know where to look. How easy/hard is it? how long could it take? what do I need? any do's and dont's???? Please any points, advise and instructions welcome. Ant (sorry if this is in the wrong place)
