If you compare parts on a Anglia/Escort/Capri a lot of the stuff is interchangable! All three cars had a Xflo or Pinto of some variaty. The Jelly moulds are totally different, fuel injection ABS etc, not saying thats a bad thing, but just a totally different era

Sorry but even tho i think they can be nice, especially the RS500, I just cant see them in the same category as a MK1 Escort or Anglia. Modern Classic perhaps, Old Skool no!

If you have only those three to go for, i'd say go for a Ford Engine, and the Duratec to be different

Well after fitting a brand new silver top Facet fuel pump yesterday, I went back to Bossy for a RR session. Well pleased with the results 125bhp at 5500rpm I love my Mex

Above is done now, got 8mm fuel line from the tank right up to the 40's, And moved the regulator up under the bonnet, Dont know if it was just me, but it seemed to fly all the way home, Cheers to Gary for the use of the Ramps and Marty for getting up early. Bring on the rollers

Looking good bud, I see a pattern developing and I tend to agree, slam in on some fat old skool rims, and errrr switch off the neon

its another tank in it now, gonna change all the fuel line to 8mm and relocated the regulator, fingers crossed that'll cure it

Nothing mate, the 7x13's go under them perfect, standard Mexico front wings, the rear arches on a Mex are slightly rolled from the factory anyway (I've been told) The N/S/R does catch sometimes when fully loaded, but apart from that no worries Single leaf springs at the rear with lowering blocks and standard Mex shox up front with lowered springs
