  1. Might have to give that a try. Last time I saw them was at MEN on the Brave New World Tour, amazing band live.
  2. It should look a touch nicer on sunday if you let you me have a quick fettle with the polish and machine
  3. You've had your hand in your pocket! Im looking forward to it now the pig flu has passed
  4. Ive already fallen foul of that one. other than XR3i, do you have any other amusing ones?
  5. Ive thrown my hat into the ring. What do we win? Eternal glory? The respect of your peers? or a cup? Im willing to donate a cup, out of my kitchen cupboard (not my IOM TT one), to be given to the winner of the league at Classic Ford 2010.
  6. Don't mean me do you? I like the edit to my first post/word filter Mondy = Flat cap and braces. Im younger than 99.9% of cars on here. The car's are wearing better than I am though. Cheers for the welcome everyone. Now to suss out how to get a zetec in a mk1 Fez.
  7. The mullered Focus was Andrew Gallagher's. It is a real track weapon, a serious bit of kit. Its always very, very nice to see a good bit of old skool metal at Ford Fair, seeing your thousandth blue Focus RS isn't exactly inspiring, so keep up the good show by getting yourselves over there. I spent the vast majority of my day working on a mk1 Fez, and what a joy it was to stand back and look at it at the end of the day sitting there with much more glamour and character than what was surrounding it.
  8. And how long before the phone call saying "it wont run right again". And you know your dad will tell you off if you fit them.
  9. Right you are, no mention of air con, abs or even the mid 80's.
  10. Afternoon all. First off, lets start off on a bad foot. My daily drive is a 2007 Mondeo, my track car is a 1995 Escort and my weekend car is a 1986 XR3i. None of these come even close to meeting your criteria, especially as the XR is a mk4, and I saw the notice on the door on the way in. I realise all of this puts me in the firing line for being hoofed out, but before you do, let me attempt some redemption. 1. I was told to look on here by Immingham, I think he wanted me to see some of the pics of his car, as if having it on my drive every few weekends isnt enough. 2. Immi and I (too many I's) have sort of inherited a Fez mk1 pop that needs to be a bit quicker, so technical advice is the order of the day, the best ways to bodge. I do love my classics, Im just far too tight to buy a proper one, so the XR is the earliest I have got so far.
