Which means the show was profitable ... hence there will be one next year.
The thing is ..you cant exclude clubs, like the RSOC .. they are invited, so their members go, and those members are proud of their cars, be that an Rs1600 or a RS Focus .....
THE BIGGEST DIFFERENCE
You wont see the Mondeo and Focus owners moaning about a load of OSF's at a newer ford show like Ford Fair, you'll get them drooling and patting you on the back for having a great car, normally with words of ...
"I'd love to have one of those "
Not
"why dont you f**k off to the CF show "
So, come on, calm down, at the end of the day, we all like Fords, and we should all like each other, to me, this argument is like the 4dr/2dr debate.
At last, someone with a bit of common sense. Im one of them who has a MK5 XRIIIi and have had MK3 XRIII’s and 16i’s but I also had MK2 & MK4 Cortina’s , MK1 & 3 Capri’s and a Pop. When I go to a show I love to look at the oldskool stuff as im into them big style, but I also like to look at the Cosworths and S1 turbos, RS16i as well as the XR range. No im not going to waste my time looking at something that has just drove through the sticky on dept of halfords but to some of them young lads theirs is the best car in the world. Im here for Fords, up to around 93, after that it has to be something special to catch my eye but i would not have a go at the owner, i just would not look.
