  1. Thanks ... just clearing that up. Not long now!
  2. Hey folks, we've got 2 Old Skool Ford stands in our list of stands, I'm assuming there is only one stand and it got double booked by different people? We've sent James' out, don't know if we should be sending the other passes out to Scott? Can someone give us a steer on this. Thanks, looking forward to see you all again.
  3. Thanks so much for coming to the show and bringing your fine machinery Next year we'll hopefully have some of our Ford shaped guest cars turn up. :/
  4. Hey folks thanks for the interest shown so far, we do love a good Ford at the event.. I feel it is fair to tell you that Joel has had to pull out with the Granada due to life commitments, we're still working on a suitable Ford shaped replacement which we will announce in due course. Hope this doesn't put you off coming, it really is a good show
  5. I'm looking forward to the OSF stand, I dunno if it will help your cause, but it might be worth pointing out that if you want to see 1000+bhp of Koenigsegg powered Granada in the UK running up the hillclimb, then the Retro Rides Gathering is pretty much your only chance, as we're getting this over from Norway for the event : http://www.speedhunters.com/2012/06/crazy_granad/ Just sayin' I'm not sure if it will be of interest to the members here
  6. Some people have added up some details of stuff they are bringing : http://retrorides.proboards.com/index.c ... ead=120954 Certainly some quality Ford bits in there
  7. Be great to see an OSF stand, with Unity media and Classic Ford coming along there is plenty of chance to get your car in print
  8. We are aware our limited camping can be a problem for some people... so we've arranged some overflow camping at a local site, see here for more info : http://retrorides.proboards.com/index.c ... =1#1373995
  9. Hello lovely OSF people, I couldn't see if anyone had posted up about the wonderful Retro Rides Gathering event, so I figured I would : Retro Rides Gathering 2011 Sunday 21st August Prescott Hillclimb Gloucestershire GL52 9RD More photos from last year Full details : http://www.retroridesgathering.com Keep up to date on Retards Club or on Twitter If there is already a thread then this one needs to be be removed! However if there isn't you should read this... and then come to the event, it is going to be awesome. -David
  10. The Audis bigger than A3 are 5x112, A4, A5 etc. small ones A3 etc. are 5x100 These are all the (17 inch) 5x112 wheels : http://www.myturbodiesel.com/1000q_how_ ... _5x112.htm Think the ones in the picture are the a6 c9m wheels (says on that webpage "notes: caution - also avail in 5x100, check bolt pattern"), reckon you'd need some spacers as offset isn't that great for RWD car ... I'd still love to see someone make it as it is one of my fave drawings so far ... that and the Granny van ... and the rotary powered air bagged 100E ... In case you are curious and wonder why I care so much, I wrote the alternative wheels feature that was in CF a while ago, would love to see some more different wheels about the shows .. g'wan, do it!!
  11. This is next week,.. and is going to be awesome.. FACT!
  12. Do it! picking the rims up tonight!! cant wait Sounds like we'll have the first car created inspired by the back pages... brilliant .. I really want to build the airbagged rotary powered 100E .. Looking forward to next months cars very much
  13. A week left to get early tickets with a free entry to the museum included
  14. Just giving this a bit of a bump, you can now keep track of whats going on with our handy Retards Club page : http://www.Retards Club.com/pages/Retro-Rid ... 257?ref=ts Would love to see some OSF representing at the show, and on the track.
  15. Hopefully it'll inspire some people to build them Enjoyable issue Si
  16. Oh please do that.. it would be awesome to see some of the backpages creations made real!!
  17. moi! I'd love to know what the Ford scene is like in Finland... the Scandinavian car scene is pretty intense, it seems you are nothing if you don't have 600bhp ! I know Suomi VWs seem to always end up turbo charged It would be cool to know the name of some of the Finnish shows, so we can do some searching for pictures
  18. In the feature on Julius' car there is a picture of my dad in the background of one of the pictures, we came along and were chatting to Shaun as the photos were being done
  19. Yay! I got mine.. And it really is a great issue! .. top work. Had that great mix of feature cars and general interest features that made your tenure at Retro Cars so great.
  20. If it can make a Lada look this good : Imagine what it'd do on a Cortina, Corsair, Escort etc. etc.
  21. OMG He ruined the only mint RS2000 in existence.... It can never be replaced!!!!!! wait.... hold on.
  22. Personally I think that could be something that should be in these magazines; diversity inspires.
