    Help

There's not really much difference between a diesel tank and a petrol tank. All diesel tanks will have a fuel return as diesels tend to return more fuel than they use. In returning fuel it also helps to warm the fuel thus cutting down the possibilty of waxing. Another way of reducing waxing is to ad a drop of petrol as this has a lower freezing point. The only other difference i can think of is the position the tank is mounted in. As petrol is more volatile than diesel the tank is usually mounted a little more out of the way, ie not on the side of the vehicle like seen on trucks etc. As far as i am aware some of the more modern petrol tanks are also fitted with scavenger fuel pumps which you don't normally find with diesels. Even if i'm not 100% right it might get you out of the shite.

  13. Sounds like you've got yourself a bagain , just don't get too carried away with it and keep the mods simple, sometimes less is more. slam it and put some nice rims on it.
  14. used to just throw them away, never caused any problems not having one.
  15. at the moment it's around £100 for your casing to be narrowed and around £200-£250 for your halfshafts to be shortened. It usually works out just as cheap to get new shafts from strange or moser. Try any of these, they do this sort of thing all the time. Webster engineering Hauser race cars Andy robinson race cars
