  1. "If you speak to triggerwheels they will supply everything you need for around about £200" Its coming in at £289+40 p&p, I think sourcing the parts meself would knock a 100 off that at least! Thanks ban1216, Thats a good shopping list tho! Thanks SmokeEm, I'll pm him for some pointers.
  2. Anyone fitted a megajolt set up to a 2.0 pinto? Ive seen kits for around 340ish but sourcing myself will be cheaper. As far as I'm aware all I need is- Megajolt lite Edis 4 Coilpack Trigger wheel Sensor Laptop How hard are these to fit? If I get the donor parts incl loom that'll make wiring easier. Then make a bracket for the sensor and fit the trigger wheel, what size wheel do I need for the pinto crank pulley? Am I right that wherever the sensor is fitted the missing tooth is exactly 90 degrees clockwise from there... Is removing the standard dissy and fitting a blanking plate all thats required..........or are there other gubbins getting geared from the dissy cog? Lastly, TPS- is this worth having? Sorry for so many Qs C
  3. Thanks for the bump Mk2Jo! Cheers V6Mat!
  4. I'm after a decent rolling road service in Northern Ireland or any where in Ireland! Dont mind travelling as I want it done right. 1978 2.0 Capri III, spec pretty basic, twin 40s, raised CR, fr30 cam (not installed yet) Standard dizzy needs a curve adjustment. Gonna try H-H for that or are there any closer to home suggestions? Any help would be fantastic! C
  5. My car was resprayed a few years ago and I couldnt find the paint code. Eventually met a previous owner at the annual NI ford show, luckily he had the code! If its been sprayed a non ford colour you may need a photo-spectrum analyser, or at least i think thats what its called! Accident repair shops use them to try and match in new panels... Hope this helps
  6. Cheers I'll do that!
  7. I'm in Derry up north, dont mind a drive to get it set up properly. . . any excuse for a drive!
  8. Hi. Just saying hello to all, and wondering if there are many Irish peeps on here who know where there's a good rolling road this side of the channel? Got a 1978 mkIII Capri 2.0 pinto, with 40's, elec ign, increased CR, soon to be uprated cam and vernier. Its going good but the dissy needs the curve altered to suit more initial advance and when the cam goes in I want it set up perfect! Any ideas? I'm in Northern Ireland but dont mind travelling to get it done properly... Sweet C
