  1. hope none of you mind me saving a few of these, stunning pics here
  2. Thanks for all the advice like get cheap and slow etc but i dont want to wait for ages to get a nice car. What if i die in a crash in a shitbox? I would never have got to drive the great stuff. Thats why i want a cortina mk4 or 80 as they're still cheap to buy and with the money left over you can put towards the insurance. Then when I get to 19, and the insurance is a bit better, go for a mk1/2/3 tina and have fun I know i sound like a typical arrogant teen, but life is for living, not plodding around in a corsa to build a ncb
  3. How about if the car has poor performance but a large engine? Just as an example, doesnt a 2.5 (or something) zephyr only have 100 bhp?
  4. I've been doing that lol, but it's annoying to keep filling out details
  5. Does anyone know if a cortina mk4/5 is a bitch to insure for a 17 year old, I.E more than £1500? Cheeky I know but I want an osf for my 1st car but i dont want a mk1 fiesta (dont like little cars) If they are arses to insure, any idea which one could be cheaper (less than £1500, maybe £1750 for the right car) Thanks
  6. This is what i was after, thanks Any idea how may of these were made?
  7. I have, but i wondered what others were out there
  8. thanks

  16. Now that is simple pornographic Lol, beautiful car.
  17. Thanks I live in a rural area and I see myself living there for quite a while so high top speed isn't the most important thing. I like the pinto, are they easy to fit into a Mk2 escort? And how about into a Mk1?
  18. looks great, Im sure it was featured in the first RF I bought
  19. I like the idea of a modern engine in retro cars. Best of both worlds IMO
  20. What would you say is the best engine for a mk2 for fast road use? Thanks
  21. Hate hearing about these. You work hard for your money and after paying bills what you have left goes to your pride and jo, whereas some scum whose never worked a day in their life just come along and nicj it. To make things worse, if you go out and hit them YOU get arrested I'd do everything that has been suggested I.E Chain the car down, remove ecu, tracker etc.
  22. why would anyone do that? It's people like them that make old people think all young people are like thay
  23. Looks great mate, look aftr it lol
