Cheers Leon, yes nice to know Kerimes & her sisters are still going strong but the last i saw of mine was for sale in Classic ford magazine years ago. DVLA says its not been taxed since 2001 so prob tucked away somewhere waiting for another rebuild...... or to be turned into bean cans!

That brings back memories, i put the green one back on the road then sold it to Lee just before it was featured. Ive got loads of photos of it but these are from my "previous cars" thread...sorry about the picture quality...

You can get different gear wheels from mini spares to give more sweep. I just mount the mini wiper motor on the large column support & run the flexi cable over to the passenger side. This means they park on the drivers side. I used LHD mini wiper arms which are available cheap on ebay. Done this on both of mine & never really noticed them obscuring my view.

Was a good day out & nice to give the van its first long run, though the sidevalve & 3 speed box probably wasnt best suited for the journey! Nearly had the speedo back round to zero on a few long downhill stretches-though it is highly innacurate Thankfully the old girl got me back without any dramas, & was good to see some modern motors being left for dust when they tried to have a tearup with certain other members! Nice one to all involved

I used to go up there ocassionally in the early 90's then pretty much every month after about 1992.I remember most of the cars you mention Kev & i can remember seeing yours for the first time when you pulled up by the roundabout,think it had the tsw rims on it then. The main cars that i remember are Puddys cortina when it had minilites,John tebenhams anglia,BMX 11T,Jez thorntons old yellow mk2,a dark blue mk1 with bubble arches & a HT sticker in the windscreen,& a rapid red mk2 with the front end in primer on RS500 rims,& of course loads of mk2's with mex spoilers & revolutions! We sometimes used to go up there with Tony (TJ) from Brixton who had a satin black mk1 stripped out with a lairy pinto in it,then as Gaz said there were loads of cars from this area that used to be up there. It was always a good night standing on the roundabout till the early hours freezing your knackers off watching people go sideways
