you may need to advance the timing a few degrees (turn the dizzy) ,to make up for loosing the vacuum.

ive got a rotor arm from a 1.6i escort/orion limits at 6500rpm (on my 2.0 pinto with carbs) pops bangs and flames when you hit the limiter and it was the second best price .... free!! (better price = profit!!!)

most likely:- prop wheels (if front you will feel it in the steering wheel?!?) bearings 1/2 shafts diff what did it do b4? has it always done it? and have you changed/worked on it lately??

(i think) capri bonnets bolt on sideways not upwards like escorts! pipe/spacers will not work. maybe elongating the back holes and lift the bonnet up ad tighten(with big washers!!)
