The human race is dividing ,planet of the apes is on its way Things will all go shit tong in the end ,here is a thought for you . Lets say average joes family work hard and pays there taxes .Most of which will go towards there own needs ,schools ,hospital ,pension ,etc etc for their family ,for there life time. A little bit from every tax payer goes to keep scroungers ,some of these families are pulling 35k a year from the state (us tax payers) how many average joes need to work to keep one family ??? Average joe has 1 or 2 kids because that is all they can afford those kids are brought up in a house with good work ethic and get good schooling and are steered and helped into jobs .They meet like minded people and have a couple of kids ,everything is good with the world they all pay there way and carry on paying for the scroungers . The problem in decades to come , will be the scroungers having 10 odd kids that have bad work ethic are breading a disproportionate amount of kids that will probable struggle to get work. These kids will meet like minded people and go on and have disproportionate amount of kids too.Most wont want to work or wont be bright enough to work . Multiply this by a few decades and we all can expect our taxes to rise 3 fold to keep them all . It does not matter if you are thick or academic but you dont breed pedigree dogs from mongrel dogs the problem this country really has is there is no industry in this country ,coal mines ,factory work for these uneducated people to do ,so the skilled and academic workers will have to fit the bill for them . They cant throw them on the street because we would have slums and crime every where ,i am pleased they are cutting back on what they hand out though ,there might be a £1 a year for me when i retire at 70 The race will divide . Taxes will go up !!! The scroungers will have more kids ,better cars ,bigger houses ,more sky channels than all of us ,more holidays ,will use more of the public services .They will also SHOUT louder about having it taken away from them than us tax payers will SHOUT about having smaller pensions and higher taxes. Rant over

I think a cut off date is good ,like 25 years old ,classic ford rather than oldskool ford. As stated ,include cars that are younger if they retain the looks and model. Keep it rolling too and create new sections for new models. That said lol i do view this site as a proper Oldskool ford site and adding 80s motors would change my perception of the site . Im sure plastic bumper cars will be considered OldSkool when all modern cars have electric motors and carbon fibre bumpers as standard .So it may be an age thing ,perhaps 18 year old lads may compare this site more to a vintage old mans site lol which is how i see vintage car forums ,i would not want to associate my mk1 escort with one of these vintage forums the same way a mk4 rs turbo owner may not want to be on here . All that said ,if the site is to evolve and pull in more revenue there is the problem that none of the current cars on the forum are being manufactured. So if the site is kept in a time warp which is great for the image ,there is no way it can grow. Membership will go up and down as people leave the scene and sell there cars and others buy there cars etc . If you want to keep the site Oldskool you could pull members in by having a section that cover other areas that oldskool cars are used in .A historic rally section ,i guess a lot of these guys may not use this site as there use for there cars if different to the show and meet scene here. Same as historic saloon ,not just UK but world wide . There is so many forums that i use for different reasons because they all offer something different ,but in the same way the super markets corner the market i guess forums are no different .A one stop OldSkool forum would pull in more members and leave the other by the wayside just like Tesco lol Just give the horse burgers a miss. Bit of a long post for a lurker lol but just my thought . It is and always will be a great site

I think people who buy avo cars want them to look like the real deal other wise they would buy a replica or non ford colour car. Cant see changing one rs colour for another would make any difference ,may add value if you change to a rarer colour or one that's more popular. If you change to a non rs colour you could still retain the same value as some like things different ,but i would guess you would limit the number of buyers making it harder to sale which would effect value if you had to sell in a hurry lol . Did that make any sense
