  1. Hi Guys Was having a look though the May 2011 issue of Retro Ford (yes we are a little behind in Australia) and noticed some RS 4 spokes that are 7.5x13" and was wondering if anyone has fitted these to a Mk 2 Escort with standard arches. If so how much a arch modifications were needed and what tyres are you running. If anybody has any info on this it would be greatly appreciated... Michael

  6. Hey there all I know there has been many posts on brakes previously but i was wondering if you all wouldnt mind shedding some more light on the subject. I have a Mk2 escort and am looking at upgrading the brake to give it that little bit of an edge, but I am unsure as to what packages would best suit my car. I use it mostly for road use however I do run some track days and I'm hoping to compete in a hillclimb series soon. I've had a look at some packages from Wilwood and HiSpec, and was tempted to run with some wilwood either dynalites or midilites but am really lost as to what would be best. If anyone could shed any lght on the subject or direct me to someone who can that would be much appreciated... Thanks in advance Michael
  7. Ah there 13x6 dragway indies, it's a pretty common wheel over here on old fords and holdens ( Australian vauxhals) they were fitted by the previous owner, and give the car a rather destinctive look I think...
  8. Hey there everyone. I from Australia and drive a 1977 Mk 2 escort GL not much has been done to the car other then some rust restoration and a fresh coat of paint, but I've purchased some suspension parts and hoping to fit them as soon as I get the time. I've been searching through the forum gaining ideas and inspiration of whats you lot do to your rides on the others side of the world... and well I'm very impressed. Hope we can get the old skool for scene thriving over here the same way... Anyway hope thats an alright introduction... Michael
