Just checking in for the first time.I now own a Mk2 escort at last!!
My first car (I was 18 in 1992 when i got it) was a mk2 escort van on a 'W' reg. I sold it and have had many cars and bikes since.Always wanted a forest arched mk2 with quarter bumpers and now i have one!! I have been looking for 2 years for the right one and have got one which is ok but needs a little more work.I will be working on her all winter to get her sensible.MY kids have named her Ellie the Escort so i will have to run with the name.Ellie has 2.1 pinto,5 speed type 9, coilover bilsteins wedged,grp 4 prop,rear disc conversion(winter job) etc etc i will post the full spec when finished.She will look cool and i am an owner who will use the car not just polish it!! Escorts in my belief are for driving and enjoying I am busting to let them 45's open up and listen to them sucking in gallons of air!! I will post some pics soon.Thanks Frank.
