Just to let UKMA members know Shakespeare County

Raceway, Stratford-Upon-Avon kicks off its Autumn drag

strip schedule with the first of 3 Public Track Day

Test & Tune's this weekend (30th Sept/1st Oct).

 

Street cars, sports bikes, Jap imports, hot hatches

and race machinery of any description are all invited

to take advantage of SCR's track and facilities

(normal RWYB/Test & Tune rules apply).

 

RWYB does exactly what it says in the ad! Provides

'wanabee' racers a chance of sampling the sport at an

affordable level and in the safe confines of a

professionally operated drag strip.

 

Already lined up, the track will be welcoming for the

first time members of the Old Skool Ford Drag

Challenge on Saturday together with cars from the

Ultimate Ford Club on Sunday. Carolyn Campbell will

also be furthering the developments of the rocket

dragster 'Laffin Gas'. The track will be prepped the

whole weekend. Other dates include 14th/15th October

and 28th/29th October - Last Chance Bonfire Burn-Up.

 

Admission to the raceway is £10 on Saturday, £12 on

Sunday, and the track fee is £20 per day or £35 for a

full weekend for unlimited runs. For further
