We're having a cruise!! Anyone want to join us?

Me and my Allegro loving companions are having a cruise. We plan on taking the gruelling trip from Gresty Road, home of Crewe Alexandra to Crewe Station. We estimate this trip will take around three hours to take into account any breakdowns which may occur on route.

 

 

If it's a success, we plan on doing this every year and will rival your London to Brighton trip.

 

Here's a map of the route.

 

 

Now, after those of us who don't break down and actually reach Crewe station, we will be in heaven. Crewe station is a major junction in the rail network so there'll be hundreds of trains coming past.

 

We have got a place reserved on Platform 5.

 

Platform 5

 

The cost of the cruise will be £47 broken down as:

£5 - Platform ticket.

£2 - Biro and notepad for trainspotting

£40 - RAC breakdown cover for the day.

 

Don't forget that it may be a cold day so wear your anorak!
