Been a long time since i've heard the warble of an RS2000 or the roar of a set of twin 40's. Hi and thanks for moving this to the right section. Yes i sold the mex to a guy in Blackpool who finished the restoration, he then sold it on ebay. Good to see some of your cars at the Ashford meet, i was the guy in the modified red 850 T5 estate : ( And for those of you who know Jeoff in the black mk2 mexico from deal, it was my car a few years ago and OMG does it look/go different now. A real credit to his work
RETRO_AL Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 i know somebody who knows the guy who owned it in blackpoo,l i will pm him and ask if he knows were the new owner is
jay Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 howdy mate , good luck in your search..... welcome..
waxworks Posted October 2, 2006 Author Report Posted October 2, 2006 I sold it to a guy called Leon from blackpool who then sold it on. Apparantly it is going to be a rally car, i would just like to know where abouts she now lives.
Sideways Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 I know the guy who owns it now, a chap called Geoff Roberts, he brought it off ebay from the guy in Blackpool The cossie engine has been pulled out and a N/A engine is going in. the car has also gained some alloy arches, and some changes to the roll cage as it is being converted to a forest spec rally car probably not what you wanted to hear though

Sideways Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 Not that I know of mate, but you never know. & judging by the quality & finish of his old mk1 that he built, this will end up being a very nice car when its done, not that it wasnt nice to start with that is
