Garage ???

Just wondering if anyone has any idea on what sort of money i would be looking at to have a garage buit bit wider than a standard size one,has anyone had one built i am going to get some quotes but just want an idea

i built mine for about 2 grand mate. including the base and a 2nd hand pre fab garage. its 19'x15 plenty enough room for a car and working room

Mine is 20 feet by 10 feet. They took the old one away, built the base, then built the garage (using the concrete panels). Flat roof and it cost £1500. It should have been £1800 but he forgot to collect the remaining £300

i just rent one at £8 a week.

The trick is to deffo do it yourself. The money is in the labour, the materials are quite cheap really. Just be aware that there is new legislation for external buildings regarding electricity sources and such. It'll need to have its own breaker/fuse box and be certificated to confirm its up to "code".

 

I'd go with 2k though mate, sounds about right. I'll throw a few bricks up for you....i'm handy with a trowel.
