Yes m8 175/50's will fit your 7's thats what i got for my 7j superlites,and because they are slightly stretched over the rim they give more clearance than other alternatives

Unless you car a real low you should get away with standard arches,wouldnt hurt to roll the rear lip

If the extra 2" is all at the back of the wheel they could rub the inners, all on the front and catch the outers.

 

Bolt them on and have a look.

Most definatly, unless you go for 165's
