Yep! Used on a daily basis! The OSF factor outweighs the extra fuel costs! Although I'm starting to worry about the day when LRP runs out!:D

7 gallons a day though.....oooch

I couldn't use mine every day as it would be parked in a police car park in the middle of town. It would be damaged or stolen within days as it stands out cos of the colour, so it only comes out out on nice days when I go out for a drive 8)

use the mk5 everyday, likes the looks it gets,

even had a guy in a lambo eying it up the other day,

the mk1 only used only at the weekends as a second car,

( got nowhere to park it & its garage is 20 miles away )

I used mine every day till it broke, no heater, crap wipers, digging up catseyes, and loved it!!

I bought myself a crap mk5 escort to run over the winter and plan to keep that and use the cortina for fun when it's back on the road!

Although it won't be a daily driver I will still use it reguarly I just don't wanna leave it parked up all day while I'm at work!

If you can`t drive it it`s not worth having it. The Mk5 was bought to be used as our everyday car last year, as we were both fed up with modern tin boxes that you can`t tell apart. Would have been nice to use the Mk1, but as Marty said in an earlier post got no where to park it here, so shes used weekends & for fun :D

I would never ever use mine as an every day car, i hav'nt spent all that money on it for someone to just drive it away while im at work! We all know there not exactly the hardest cars to nic! Plus id be putting petrol in it every day, my escort just drinks the fuel.
