PAUL MANN Posted May 6, 2007 Report Posted May 6, 2007 mk1 escort fuel tank ,the pipe at the bottom has a kink in & also has a slight leak,is it possible to get a new one,or is there something else i could use,the leak is between the nut & the pipe not the nut its self,if that makes sense,the tank is fine
luz008 Posted May 6, 2007 Report Posted May 6, 2007 are you running injection or carbs? i took out the little nut which the pipe attaches to and braised an 8mm copper pipe straight to the large nut which screws into the tank. this would solve the kink and the leak
