Headlining or not?

Hello all, just after some opinions really, is it worth leaving the headlining in my Mk1, as all the rest will be stripped out?

leave it in, they don't look right with it removed plus its not going to save enough weight to make a difference, its just a waste of time to take it out

Saved loads of weight when I took mine out. It had a thick sheets of sound deadening stuff glued to the roof, similar to the stuff they put under the carpet.

if you take it out make sure you get rid of any trace of glue or anything ssand it down properly and paint it nicely or ittl always look shite

rip it out and re-paint the roof so its nice and shiny mate

mine had a mint dark grey headlining in - infact it was by far the best thing on the car - but i took it out anyway

keep it,the condensation will piss you right off in the winter
