FlashCadillac Posted May 21, 2007 Report Posted May 21, 2007 is the "rebuilding and tuneing fords kent crossflow engine" book any good for someone who doesnt have a clue about tuneing.... ....or is it full of sh*t?? Thanks http://www.amazon.co.uk/Rebuilding-Tuni ... 913&sr=8-1
Fiesta Steve Posted May 21, 2007 Report Posted May 21, 2007 As above, I have a copy and found it not a lot of use if you want to learn about extracting horsepower from an engine. But a good book if you just want to rebuild an engine
FlashCadillac Posted May 21, 2007 Author Report Posted May 21, 2007 is there anything out there that will help with the tuning side??? apart from this forum
allsteel Posted May 22, 2007 Report Posted May 22, 2007 Any books by David Vizard!!! Really explains the art of engine tuning. Tuning the "A" series (mini) engine will keep you engrossed for weeks. (Yea I know its not Ford but the principles still apply)
CéDriC Posted May 22, 2007 Report Posted May 22, 2007 i've got tuning escort and capri by david wizard, far better for 50 little page than the big tuning xflow engine. with all the tuning advice since xflow have been done, not far better today than years ago.
