I have just purchased a mk II 1600 ghia escort 4 door for a song. Needs a battery tray, some door work and a new vynil roof but seems mechanically sound. I am planning to have a play at the weekend. I can't believe she has only done 49000 on a V plate. Interior is mint, carpet, roof dash the lot. Pity its green really, reminds me of a bad cold, still could be fun with a 24v cossy in it ( One day).

Not yet, gonna get the thing on the road a tidy the bodywork up first, once she is solid then I will look at doing something silly.
