I didn't have any cash and was only going to be ten minutes and I was going to the bank anyway. Came back to find a traffic warden sat on the wall waiting for me. Him: Did you know you have to pay to park here. Me: Yes, I'm sorry, I had no money. Him: Oh...(paused because he was expecting a different answer).. well off you go then. Me: (confused) I can pay now, I've just been to the bank. Him: No, it's ok. You were honest with me. If you'd have said 'no I didn't know', I would have given you a ticket. Me: Thank you

Late evening, so it was dark, road was empty apart from a pair of lights in my mirror, so I just wound it up a bit, then slowed down for the camera... Blue lights in my mirror. ...eh?! Unmarked fuzz in a dark beemer! Let me off cuz he was 'on his way to a potentially fatal incident'.
RedditchJay Posted May 27, 2007 Report Posted May 27, 2007 we were in Mallorca a few years ago and we {me and Long Tall Sally} hired a fire blade for a couple of days.... we had noticed that many of the locals on scooters didnt wear helmets so we decided not to also.... we got pulled by the local police nasties and we were getting the 3rd degree and being written a ££££ euro on the spot fine when a car went balls out past us, so the Police man said "STAY THERE" and jumped on his bike and shot after the car..... We........... got on the blade and hit the road back to our town at over 80mph..... we so nearly got busted......... When we returned teh bike the guy knew we had been pulled and knew we had done a runner... he had our passports as security for the bike but soon handed them back..... RULE.... WEAR HELMETS..... Jay

My mate is a lorry driver and he did a delivery to a council building. He came out and found his lorry ticketed! After he went back in, he caused merry hell, and was escorted out by security and banned from returning. He got the ticket cancelled though! The problem round here is all the wardens are Immigrants... and you can't hit them!!!
