Had a Johnnyh moment earlier!!

Changed the front pads on the capri earlier, then put the superlites on and decided to go for a drive. Backed out of my close at the usual speed, pressed the brake pedal and NOTHING!! Hadn't pumped the the pedal up!! Managed to really impress my neighbours by yanking the handbrake up and skidding to a stop a few feet from their garden wall!

Sorry Johnny, but it reminded me of your Mex/toadsta crash.....

but im sure every one who has ever changed pads has had a moment like that . i know i have .

 

 

one of the sillyest things ive done is forgot to put the sump plug back pon during a service . filled the engine with oil and wondered why it didnt register on the dipstick ?

 

took a step back and noticed some nice fresh oil on the floor
