Admin Vista Posted June 11, 2007 Admin Report Posted June 11, 2007 207 block pinto ?? never heard of that, it's not a 1.8 is it?
Smudger105e Posted June 11, 2007 Report Posted June 11, 2007 2006 SALOON STOCK CAR SPECIFICATIONS 2. ENGINES The only engine permitted is the 2-litre Ford Pinto. It must remain as manufactured by Ford other than where specified. The "207" block is not permitted. A catch tank must be fitted within the engine compartment capable of catching any oil discharged from the engine. This comes from the SSRA reguations for Siera racing, so the 207 must be a Sierra block I guess...
Burns Posted June 11, 2007 Report Posted June 11, 2007 just googled "207 Pinto" and it came up with a turbosport thread; http://www.turbosport.co.uk/showthread.php?p=1263735 looks like it's a low comp tranny engine from what i can gather
Admin Vista Posted June 11, 2007 Admin Report Posted June 11, 2007 Done a bit of research myself and my earlier guess of a 1800 Sierra engine is wrong as that would have 185 on it.
