DEP Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 go 2 the lakes show if u want a real 2day show Is'nt that just Escorts though??? nar there was capri,tina on the tour and in the show What about Anglia's, Fiesta's, 100E's etc. Thats what I like about the CF Show, a bit of variety osf were invited last year and was a no show,same with the avo show last year,doesnt look good on osf when this happens As i m sure your aware Tim, you could attend a show every w/end, but some of us dont have the funds to attend every show, even thou we would love to, You seem to forget that we went down to the south west meet earlier in the year and attended the I.O.W show aswell last year, plus this is only the 3rd year that OSF has been attending shows, and it takes time to establish which shows to attend and which ones to miss, I m sure the Lakes tour was very good and i m sure we will think about attending it at some point. If your really worried about it looking bad on OSF (which i m sure your not anyways) Why dont you try and get people interested, we have enough people up north to support a meet.

What I really missed was not having time to have a sit down on the grass bank in the sun with mrs johnnyh and watch some of you lot up the strip DITTO 2 Days would be cool, what with setting up the Gazebo, merchandise, organising where the best place for everyone to park, runnin up the strip at an HOUR PER RUN QUE! some of us didnt stop, thanks to those who pitched in Then getting back and having to pack it all away again, the day was simply not long enough, didnt get the chance to wander round any other stands

stoppodriver Posted July 18, 2007 Report Posted July 18, 2007 I was surprised how small the show was , I've probably been spoilt by shows like Beltring ( Military Vehicles ) which you literally cannot get round the stalls in a day , or Land Rover only autojumbles like the twice yearly " Old Sodbury sortouts " which are huge . I was disapointed with the Autojumble , both the size and range of parts . I was after several items for a racing project - didn't find any , I was expecting a much wider range of traders as well . I had a good day , took one of my nephews , but i wouldn't think it would be worth a 2 day event unless there's more to see and do . Regards AL.
