If it is the oil pump (and I dont know yet) then there's not a lot you can do is there Bummer mate, must be heart breaking to be having to pull it out and go through another rebuild so soon. Did you not fit a new oil pump last time?

I bought the engine re-built from Clint, I can only presume he used a new one and its failed (if it is that anyway), fair play to him he did say if I ever had a problem he said he would sort it and he's standing by his word, I can't ask for more than that. I was a bit down about it but what can you do. Ive only ever taken out a crossflow before in a mk2 escort so it was a good learning curve. We'll see how organised Ive been when I get the engine back and Ive got to put it all back together again and get it in. I bet I'll have loads of spares left
