Mr.Sumo Posted June 30, 2007 Report Posted June 30, 2007 he must be the most unluckiest Capri owner i know After towing my car over to Petrolheads today , and then running all the way back to get some other bits , we get a phone call he"s broken down ..... car is dead . No spark , nothing . Anyway , tow it back to Tonys ...distributer out , check coil (reading 5 volts , not 12 )change coil.....still no go...... Mine is fixed and ready for tomorrow...poor old Pips got to be towed home. I am so gutted for him... Someone pass the luck of the Irish over to him please....

Took the dizzy cap off, spun the engine and guess what....................the rotor does not spin Timing gear, camshaft, crank shaft. Don't know what, but something is broken The engine was rebuilt using steel and alloy timing gear. The engine will have to come out
