he must be the most unluckiest Capri owner i know :sad:

 

After towing my car over to Petrolheads today , and then running all the way back to get some other bits , we get a phone call he"s broken down :( ..... car is dead . No spark , nothing . Anyway , tow it back to Tonys ...distributer out , check coil (reading 5 volts , not 12 :sad: )change coil.....still no go......

 

Mine is fixed and ready for tomorrow...poor old Pips got to be towed home. I am so gutted for him...

 

Someone pass the luck of the Irish over to him please.... :thumbsup:

he aint had a lot of luck with it lately, perhaps he should by my MK1 :lol:

 

now theres an idea.....me and Tony offered him a can of petrol and a match............... :wink:

Well the engine spins at an abnormal speed to what I'm used to.

 

Took the dizzy cap off, spun the engine and guess what....................the rotor does not spin :sad:

 

Timing gear, camshaft, crank shaft. :huh: Don't know what, but something is broken :( The engine was rebuilt using steel and alloy timing gear.

 

The engine will have to come out :roll:
