I would say mk1 Fiesta at the mo. They are pretty cheap, easy to maintain, parts are available off the shelf, etc etc.

They also look pretty damn cool 2. Im sure the Mk1 Fiesta squad will back this up

as said above...To keep the insurance reasons down, and an engine is easily sourced and changed at a later date.

Both cars are cheap and easy to work on and fairly reliable.

Personally i'd go for an escort if you can afford one.

my first car is the escort you see in my sig.

1st year insurance was £1122 fully comp under my own name (cheaper than a fiat cinquicento!)

im into my second year now and its dropped to £647

gotta be an escort

it'd have to be a fezza mk1 or an escy 4 door, depends what you want really, fezza's are cheaper at the moment, mine only cost me £112 :D

mk1 fiesta is the way forward u can really abuse them and they keep going and not only that but no unexpected sideways to catch u unaware as a new driver and all the other reasons every one else said and first car was a mk1 escort 2 door 1.1 and and that almost ended up in a wall or a bus stop every time it rained so i no what i'm saying but that was 14 years ago :mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:
