ive nearly always had a osf car since being 18 im 35 now

my mates etc used always class me as driving round in heaps of shit

basically i bought them because 1, i liked them and 2, i could afford them

i couldnt afford the cars they were buying (or mummy and daddy were buying for them)

now look at osf i now get proper interest from people they are a head turner and they are getting bloody expensive to buy

so to all those who took the piss back in my younger osf days :upyours:

yeah i know when i got my capri all the chavs at college wer like, "why you got that larrr its like older than you larrr" n i was just like "tell you what, follow me, and try to keep up" naturally, with ther 1.1 shitrons and puntos they couldnt, then they just shut up, its a good feeling when people insult ur car and then it ends up makin them look like idiots, aaahhhh good times!!

but yeah, to most people the cars are a head turner, i know i get a lot of people lookin at the car and talking to me about it, its nice to see how many people used to have a capri, and hearin all the stories that went with them, i know one thing, it gets more looks than any BMW or Merc that rolls past.

i think it is just younger chavs that dont see the OSFs for what they are, they always say how its old...thats the point!! at least OSFs have character and style, not like all these euro-boxes that all just look the same!!

i get it all the time i get the ribbing for

"why dont uy buy somethign modern"

"arent u fed up with it breaking down all the time"

"why dont u get a proper car"

"its older then you are whats the point"

"has that old rust bucket not fallen apart yet"

annoys me but i just laugh it off most of the time i mean yeah its an old car it hardly breaks down and itr just looks the King the round ones !

yesh its a bit rusty but what do u expect its a rolling resto tht gets used and abused on a daily basis my car will still be going in ANOTHER 24 years how many cars on the road today will still be around in 24 years time ???

why dont people understand?

i get that already

why do u want a rust bucket that dont work!

hows the old banger scrapped it yet!

what is the point in spending so much time money and effort on a chunk of old scrap metal!

they just dont get it

i know the feelin boys

had a chavvy matey with a 1.6 focus describe my escort (with a 140bhp crossflow sat under the hood) as "an antique with 2 horsepower"

he then continued to lay claim that said focus could outhandle my car as well as outpower it

when will these people learn??
