Burns Posted July 20, 2007 Report Posted July 20, 2007 mine's not as bad as that, but there's a cut through to my parents if there's slow traffic on the main road. went up there, round a corner not going particularly fast, but it'd just started chucking it down, almost put her in a tree right there (gravelly road + rain + oil on the road = how to get a fiesta sideways)
lee_capri Posted July 20, 2007 Author Report Posted July 20, 2007 cant belive myself and burns and one other are the only bad-boys on here, cars are a form of transport but also a lot of fun on and off track and we all do stuff we shouldnt have so is their any-more tales to tell
Messenjah Posted July 20, 2007 Report Posted July 20, 2007 arse out at every oppertunity been nicked doing over the ton down the a1 before and pulled over for "drifting" a couple of times aswell
Copey Posted July 20, 2007 Report Posted July 20, 2007 bein an 18 year old with a slightly tuned 2.0 i find it hard to behave, along the southport coast road ther is like a massive carpark that goes all the way along and i was stuck behind an old bloke doin 20mph, so i swearved into the carpark and floored it, heavy stream of oncoming traffic ment i couldnt overtake in the traditional fasion, and ended up comin out infront of him, i say infront, a couple of hundred yards infront i also like puttin other people in tough possitions, i was goin about 20 coz i had some chav right up my arse so thought i would go slow to annoy him, so when he tried to overtake i floored it, made him look like a fool!!
bmxdave Posted July 20, 2007 Report Posted July 20, 2007 I really cant help being a nutter sometimes. I consider people who drive exceptionally slow (25 or less in a 30 zone, 35 or less in a 40, 50 or less in a national speed limit, although taking circumstances into consideration) to be extremely selfish. Im bad for road rage, and ive actually *cough* touched *cough* a car infront to push it along to make a point that theyre doing 30 in a 60 zone. I always drive with my main beam on too to intimidate slower people. You know when theres roadworks and a two lane road goes into one, and everyone joins early but you always get some fairy who tries to jump the que? Ive actually forced a car to hit the cones and a sign. I love leaving a gap to bait them in then flooring it and forcing them out. The way i look at it, is if your not using your car properly, you may aswell get a bus.
Copey Posted July 20, 2007 Report Posted July 20, 2007 urgh main beam, you tinker lol!! lol hate people that do that!!
bmxdave Posted July 20, 2007 Report Posted July 20, 2007 Theyre not exactly bright, if they where i wouldnt do it. An i only do it to people going stupidly slow.
lee_capri Posted July 20, 2007 Author Report Posted July 20, 2007 i always try on the left me my-self might be some room, cant stant main-beam drivers once put a motor in the dike because of that
over_head_cam Posted July 20, 2007 Report Posted July 20, 2007 Remnd me never to drive on the same bit of road as you lot then Especially if I've got the kids or the mrs with me.
Copey Posted July 20, 2007 Report Posted July 20, 2007 do you often feel that people will forgive you for bein an a$$ hole coz you have a nice old car?? coz i do, LOL
bmxdave Posted July 20, 2007 Report Posted July 20, 2007 They seem to expect you to drive nice for some reason. And that youll be extra carefull cause you dont wanna damage your car.
lee_capri Posted July 20, 2007 Author Report Posted July 20, 2007 they want to look il givr them someting to look at
tim Posted July 20, 2007 Report Posted July 20, 2007 http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/topstories ... -19432029/
Copey Posted July 20, 2007 Report Posted July 20, 2007 are you lot just mad all the time or just wen people piss you off?? does the music u listen to effect you at all??
bmxdave Posted July 20, 2007 Report Posted July 20, 2007 Only when people puiss me off. Music doesnt help either. Certain songs make me drive like a nutjob, some make me drive smoother though, others like colin mcrae
lee_capri Posted July 20, 2007 Author Report Posted July 20, 2007 rock music mate, as the queen song, dont stop me now erm vids like that should be kept private but that is the sort of thing i would do
Copey Posted July 20, 2007 Report Posted July 20, 2007 yeah i am the same still love the feelin of acceleratin tho, its a nice worm feeling
X-pack-Glyn Posted July 20, 2007 Report Posted July 20, 2007 Music? thats not for driving, real drivers listen to thier car and let it talk to them whilst driving.... i do have a sterio fitted, but its never used whilst driving.
Copey Posted July 20, 2007 Report Posted July 20, 2007 i can here the engine over the music anyways, plus you cant beat a nice drive with a bit of classic rock blastin out!!
bmxdave Posted July 20, 2007 Report Posted July 20, 2007 Music? thats not for driving, real drivers listen to thier car and let it talk to them whilst driving.... i do have a sterio fitted, but its never used whilst driving. I agree. I never had music in my triumph, didnt need it, a straight six sucking through a pair of carbs, breathing back out via a straight through exhaust was more then enough. Although, on long journeys id use my phones mp3 player for some relaxing beats.
orionmojo Posted July 21, 2007 Report Posted July 21, 2007 nah, mines never been thrashed during my ownership. i took it to sakey once and tat was about it i jus cruise and enjoy it
lee_capri Posted July 21, 2007 Author Report Posted July 21, 2007 mine never been frashed just tiggled a bit i have no music what so ever and have to find other things to keep me entertained while driving
Gibson Posted July 21, 2007 Report Posted July 21, 2007 ive made a few little mistakes but never do anything illegal or mad when there are other cars on the road its just unfair on other drivers! i mean u plow your car into a tree then thats your problem. if u hit someone or a car full of people or property that doesnt belong too you.... imagine how you would feel! imagine how you would feel if it all went wrong and u killed someone! i have nothing against a little bit of sideways on a deserted roundabout at 3 o clock in the morning when the worst thing you will encouter will be a police car (again your problem) but i dont think any kind of mad driving should be undertaken when there are innocent parties involved. however i do have too say i am guilty of not letting people in if they try and overtake a queue of stationery traffic etc. cheeky turds. or driving at 22mph if there is a rudeboy nova on my tail and then making them feel silly when they try and overtake.
Messenjah Posted July 21, 2007 Report Posted July 21, 2007 agree totally getting the arse out on a wet roundabout full of other cars is extremely dangerous getting the arse out on a wet roundabout at 1 in the morning on a tuesday when theres no fairy around is great fun ! speeding to the extent that you have to weave in and out of traffic is rediculous and people who do it should be shot speeding down the a1 when its mostly empty and that traffic that is there is all going at about 90 and ure doing about 110 i dont see a problem with it aslong as you are driving considerately and not exceeding your limits / the limits of the car and driving on edge this is when accidents happen
