the 5 speed into the capri 2.8 line-up..... cos i really want that fifth cog for motorway driving when i buy my 2.8!

I thought it was from almost day one, A friend of mine had a mk3,3litre with a full RS body kit and a 5 speed, and according to the sales documents the 5 speed was fitted dealer fitted before sale,

X and Y reg have 4 speeds, 5 sp introduced in 84 as far as i know just before the special was introduced
