Paul_G Posted July 23, 2007 Report Posted July 23, 2007 Sierra? Not funny. Yes we had a couple of Sierra's visit this month and they were very nice cars that belong to a couple of guys who like and look after their cars very much. I do hope if they are reading this that they are not put off by only one negative comment from somebody who has not even attended the meet. They are friends of a friend and I would like to welcome them to come again and again. Great pictures Nick
fezza Posted July 23, 2007 Report Posted July 23, 2007 Its nothing personal mate im sure they are lovely motors and deserve praise but they are just a bit plastic for this site
Paul_G Posted July 23, 2007 Report Posted July 23, 2007 But at the end of the day I posted a picture of a Sierra so did somebody else, but the owner didn't. Now I know some people that would be over the moon to see there car has been posted on the internet let alone on another forum. Imagine how they feel when they see your comments. Now here is another thought, I tell you the owner of the Sierra is very enthusisastic about his cars and he also owns a mk1 Mexico, a Ford Pop and a Zodiac which are all projects at the moment so he fancied a run out in his Sierra? He probably hears "I joined this club to get away from all the plastic etc" all the time. Now how would you feel if somebody told you they didn't join a club because they were told someone in that club thinks their car is shit? Hope you dont think I am a shit now btw I have just been reminded of the rules and will stick to them in future

fiesta nick Posted July 23, 2007 Author Report Posted July 23, 2007 it was a gd night pual g gd 1 :P and no cars are s**t btw
omj624p Posted July 24, 2007 Report Posted July 24, 2007 btw I have just been reminded of the rules and will stick to them in future Can someone tell me the rules too then please? I dont want to inadvertantly post photos that are not allowed. What about Vauxhalls, etc? They are Old Skool but not Ford? Paul has arranged a successful car meet in Milton Keynes and values everyone who turns up, so why shouldnt he (or anyone) be allowed to post photos of ALL THE CARS that turn up? Steve
doyle Posted July 24, 2007 Report Posted July 24, 2007 on the grand scale of things sierras are becoming more 'old skool' definately the 3 doors, at least it wasnt a focus st or a new fiesta. I enjoyed looking round them
over_head_cam Posted July 24, 2007 Report Posted July 24, 2007 I'm glad everyone enjoyed the meet. Congratulations to anyone who has a car that is a bit different and out of the ordinary. I was sure I could express an opinion (shared by many) and not have dummies spat at me left and right Under the banner on EVERY page is a red and yellow block of text which pretty much sums up the way OSF is. It's been there for a year now and I dare say will remain. If my comments have upset anyone then I apologise. Well done on arranging the meet.
