atomic punk Posted August 6, 2007 Report Posted August 6, 2007 Well, fresh MOT in hand, crisp new tax disc in window, fresh fuel in the tank..... what a feeling Spent the last year or so cutting out and repairing any trace of rust I could find. It's taken 11 months, and 6 rolls of MiG wire . Its temprarily black until I can afford to have it resprayed properly, but at least its all one colour. Mechanically the only mods are a DGV and a 4 branch. I want to improve the suspension as it wallows like a barge, and put a 5 speed in eventually. However, for the time being it will be used and enjoyed Theres still a few niggles, its a bit grumpy as it hasn't been used recently - the carb needs setting up properly, a new rear bumper is needed, I have a new drivers door to put on, and a few other odds but I'm just happy to drive it again From this: TO this:
