Copey Posted August 9, 2007 Report Posted August 9, 2007 anyone else find that they are SHIT, i mean everythin else bosch makes seems decent, but the wiper blades are useless they leave streakes all over the windows, water seems to slip underneeth so it doesnt seem to push it out the way, i have cleaned the window with all sorts, keep the blades clean and everything, thought they may need some time to wear it, but they have been on a couple of months now, and with all the rain have had a good wearing, but still, they SUCK, in the rain it just makes it worse, and then in the sun you cant see a King thing through the window coz of all the streaks!!
Noodles Posted August 9, 2007 Report Posted August 9, 2007 Second that! got some for the tig, they are crap! Got halfords ones for the mk2, spot on
Jimbob-Squarepants © Posted August 9, 2007 Report Posted August 9, 2007 I put Bosch blades on my Capri, and can't fault them. They must have been on there a year now, and still work o.k Now, if we are talking about things made by Bosch... I will nominate their spark plugs... totally useless, NGK's are alot better

Jimbob-Squarepants © Posted August 9, 2007 Report Posted August 9, 2007 Oh yeah, no probs with those mate... just their plugs. They seem to break down far to easy... seen it a few times now. Whenever I buy plugs, they always give me Bosch ones, but I say "erm... got any NGK's???"
Copey Posted August 9, 2007 Author Report Posted August 9, 2007 Second that! got some for the tig, they are crap! Got halfords ones for the mk2, spot on lucky!! cant get capri ones from halfords own brand, bit shit really, might go to this little motor shop thats a lot better than halfords, they order the stuff direct from ford and most the time you get it same day! so go look ther for wiper blades

Daggle Posted August 9, 2007 Report Posted August 9, 2007 Always used Bosch wipers on my cars, never had a problem with them
Slik 50 Posted August 9, 2007 Report Posted August 9, 2007 I sold bosch blades when I worked in the shop and I never once had a complaint and we sold the to taxi drivers for fun! They areall I use mate
emu Posted August 9, 2007 Report Posted August 9, 2007 They are all we use at work, and I used to use them on my old cars.Cant say ive ever had a problem. Just a thought, if they seem to 'float' over the water on the screen.....are you sure its the wiper blades themselves at fault and not that the springs in your wiper arms arent just weak. Try bending the tab that the spring hooks into, should pull the wiper a little tighter against the screen.
over_head_cam Posted August 9, 2007 Report Posted August 9, 2007 Bes wipers i've ever used. Got them on the Escort and the Beemer
antz Posted August 9, 2007 Report Posted August 9, 2007 i use cheap shit on the volvo from the pound shop # got bosch ones on the escort. been on there since before i bought her 2 years ago and still good.
Copey Posted August 9, 2007 Author Report Posted August 9, 2007 naahh its not the springs, they are tight to the screen, just the same as the ones on my mum n my dads cars
